When you highlight an item under "Onboard Devices" you will see in the main part of the screen that you may set these values to enableor disabled by selecting "On" or "Off." The factory default setting should be set to "On"

Start up
During startup a pc pass que points where the user may press the F2 or F12 command and enter into a differnt mode. One of the modes is called setup, where critical computer configurations are set.
